The first shrink wrap I bought was reused four times after the initial winter of 2000.  The next one will probably be reused the first time in 06' unless we figure out an alternative  by the 1st of October.   I buy a lot of the six inch wide adhesive backed tape from Dr. Shrink wrap through West Marine.   The above picture had the stainless bimini  tubing in the cabin, but that was found too be too cumbersome so now we leave it's main tubes attached to the coaming and tie the four tubes together and connect/susbend them from the boom about 18 inches from the clew.  This creates a little bit of a protrusion in the tarp near the companionway and helps to keep the tarp up when snow starts to fall.
The above picture is linked to the site that is copied from  (http://www.boatcovers.ca)  They only do business in the Northwest/ Vancouver area.

A nice diagramatic description of what I think I want.   I don't keep it in the water with the cover on so part of it is not suitable for me.
