The people of Canada were just simply marvelous, super friendly and willing to bend over backwards to help us out.
In the railroad lock we were not allowed out of the boat,. The lock tender was kind enough to take some pictures of the bottom of the boat for us along with some of the strap mechanisms that are used to hold the boat vertical after the railroad car leaves the water.
Front holding straps.
Rear holding strap with full keel visible.
Rudder, skeg, and prop behind the keel. This picture reveled that the skeg shoe was missing.
