This page is about repair and/or replacement of the Florida Marine Tank, Inc.
Model 52 water Tank built in March of 1980 for the Mariner Yacht Corp..

This is a 52 gallon tank that was impact tested with water.  It is 0.09" thick and was part of lot 9.
Lasted roughly 32 years and most winters had a very small amount of RV Anti Freeze.
We often used a 1/4 of bleach to a full tank of water.
Kracor.com is a fabricator of Plastic tanks suitable for clear water and black water.  They are located in Milwaukee and have a large selection of molds, but I have not found one suitable for the starboard side water tank yet.

Ocean links seems to have products similar to Kracor

Ronco Plastics also has products similar to Kracor.

Sankaty now has a Plastimo Flexible water bladder even though it is only 37 gallons.. the 52 gallon tank was not readily available,  For the stareboard side I will try harder to get the 52 gallontank  see Facebook too

Obsolet vent hose and port are now removed.  A glass mat was added on the inside not shown. Now  looking for matching  gel coat to fill the remaining part of the 1/2" thick hull.

Bladder in place with a protective
mat that was used to allow free
motion of office chair on top of a rug.

flexible tank was folded up to revel the
underside with its outlet fitting attached to the
food grade hose that runs to the aft of the water tank compartment on Sankaty.  The hose
clamp on the outlet fitting is taped with
silicone self fusing tape
Food grade inlet hose
Ended up using part of the old hose to get the additional 1 1/2 feet for water intake.
Restraint bar and protective placemat, note the silicone self fusing tape on the inlet hose clamp to minimize chaffing on the flexible bladder. One of the sister ships developed a leak right at the inlet  on one of their two tanks after five years of use.

Note the tie wraps that restrain fwd and aft motion.
